Hijri date module (1.7) (256)
We are proud to announce official release of our first Islamic joomla module. Hijri date module is module that display Hijri and Gregorian date with many configurations available in module parameters.
Module parameters:
Date offset: With date offset you can contol curent hijri date. Add +1 or -1 (or any other number) to match current date.
Show Gregorian date: You can chose to display gregorian date or not.
Date format: You can chose how Gregorian date will be shown as defined in your language file.
Show Hijri date: You can chose to display Hijri date or not. You can also translate Hijri month names.
Show jumu'ah day: Chose to display Friday as jumu'ah day.
Text align: Align text to match your style.
Show in single line: You can display Gegorian, hijri date and jumu'ah day in single line.

If I understand you right, the module use time from server where web page is hosted, then convert that time to hijri time.
